How are we gonna do it? Once it goes out what are we lost? Of course those of us near each other can meet up at a HQ, but what about across country? I know of know radio system that long range. Is there a way to get the internet back up? (maybe through some sort of satellite internet provider we can direct connect to a central server that would allow us to use a text based chat?

as i said on another thread,

i'm gonna purchase a Radio, and using the handle "Z-Dog" (haha). Basically, since propaganda is my ordeal of the pre/post z-day world i will be basically be making a proto-apocalyptic radio show, playing music, giving updates in Real World Politics (something i always wanted to do ) and of course, Provide details and information to all ZACs tuning in. It'll be a neat little way for us all to keep in touch in the real world.

Post-Apocalypse, however, ...

Denying a tremendous last-minute lobbying effort by broadcasters, the vote on white space devices went ahead as planned today after a several-hour delay at FCC headquarters. When the vote came, though, it was unanimous. For the ...

Coal, like the ones which supply power to me, will stop once there isn't anyone loading coal into the furnaces ...

Our first radio used a telephone handset for an earphone, and that works quite well. But another type of earphone is available that fits in the ear so you don't have to hold it. It is also more sensitive than the telephone handset. In order to convert ...
