Re: ZCORPS DuckBoat
We could pitch in for the the shitty 7k one, and we could simply rebuild it over time.
Technically we have 112 members, right?
So, if everyone could pitch in 65 bucks, we'd have more than enough for the run down shitty one that can be repaired.
but realistically there are at most 20 active members, and of that, maybe 8 who are either willing/financially able to contribute, so that would jump up to about 875 dollars...
I think it's about time we start sending emails to all of our members and find out who is serious about remaining in the Z:CORPS....

Pro tip you can buy a tank for less then what they are asking http://www.armyjeeps.net/armor1.htm
OK so here's my assessment. Before we start building a fleet of dedicated z-day vehicles it would be more beneficial to get individual members on solid ground with personnel gear. The outbreak test showed that most members have some or no access to camping/survival gear and of those few have a solid backpack. On top of that very few of you have access to a firearm. A vehicle like this could be beneficial to members in which ever area you choose to store it in however most areas with large bodies of water have a decent supply of civilian water craft. Getting all of our members access to a firearm for practice or some time backpacking or even just basic camping to get a feel for what gear works/is unessential/needs to be acquired would be a solider investment then one vehicle. At some point having z-corp property is a reality but for now I feel that starting with the basics is the way to go.

completely agree. i love the idea of a duckboat, but are we really going to need to be able to carry 24 people across land and water? like i said before, it would be a great asset to have further down the line. we should invest in stuff that will get us to a meeting point alive, rather than something that would be used after we are in relative safety.

The FV_432 With Diesel Engine is the choice I would go for and yeah, no one was prepared including me, even though legally I could possess a firearm, I just don't. It's not my own place so I really cant.

I agree that we should focus on obtaining individual equipment before going for anything heavy. The outbreak test was a disaster for me, as I have a firearm but nothing else related.

No but it works the same way pricing as the ducks and tanks: (condition+model≠Q⊕:A≫|≪M∝W≈2=$) so as you can see here, it varies, like so;
Mister A from Suchensuchins freight container Brokerage firm may sell a 40 footer with whimsical care
but anonymous ad poster B will 9/10th's sell his 30 footer for more
Did you see how that worked out? The ∃! formula was a part of this as well, because B's container could easily be beaten/broken but the quality of the raw metal could be worth more than the functional 40 footer so he could easily get a per-pound value out of it from C's local scrap yard if you do not decently pay a respectful price if he is aware of what he has on hand compared to be gained
I hoped that helped you out, the best thing to do is to shop around in all venues, pennysavers and county newspapers too where a lot of construction companies sell'n'swap: I knew someone yeeeeeeaaaars ago in Watertown New York who landed a steal of a deal on a portable dynamite shed (we all still ask him what he did with it, he'll do a comical burnout 1000 yard stare saying "I stuck it out in the woods somewhere...")

Hahahaa simular actually, I knew a guy who had a surplus chopper huey set up for cropdusting and I saw an ad for a $50 15foot bubble camper trailer and put 2 and 2 together. I paid him gas, an ounce of good 90's era skunk and all the Genny Cream Ale he could drink, had the camper dropped of in a remote area, like 10 miles from the nearest road and I domed trees around and over it to help cover up that shiny aluminum. Last I knew it was pretty rotted but should still be there between Port Leyden and Booneville, east of of the moose river and river road, thats all I remember now lol. havent been there in like 6-7 years...
